In 2022, Duterimbere ONG launched its five-year Strategic Plan with the ambitious goal of enabling 5,000 households to achieve sustainable socio-economic development through inclusive participation in Rwanda's poverty reduction process. As the plan approached its conclusion in 2026, Duterimbere ONG, in collaboration with an independent consultant, undertook this end-term evaluation to generate evidence-based insights on achievements against set targets. This evaluation serves as a forward-looking process that will inform the co-creation of the new Strategic Plan (2027–2031), ensuring Duterimbere continues to empower women, youth, and vulnerable communities across Rwanda in alignment with national development priorities such as Vision 2050, NST2, and sectoral strategies.
