Caritas Rwanda implemented a 3-year RBF Enabel Project which aimed at increasing the uptake of family planning in catholic co-managed health facilities and catchments communities. The project supported different interventions including capacity building of service providers in Health Centers, development of different awareness communication approaches, supportive supervision, and coordination meetings for better coordination of project implementation. Throughout project implementation, various achievements have been registered under different undertaken activities that aimed to increase demand for family planning services for the Rwandan population aged 21-49 years through awareness raising and community engagement and improve availability and accessibility of quality family planning services. This countrywide endline evaluation sought to evaluate the project performance of implemented interventions for 3 years and come up with evidence-based findings which would be the basis for the next action strategy. The specific objectives of this evaluation were to evaluate the level of increment in the demand side of family planning services for the Rwandan population aged 21-49 years among project beneficiaries and to evaluate the status of availability and accessibility of quality family planning services. The assessment was conducted using the five key OECD criteria for impact evaluation.
