Dr. Patric Niyibishaka

Ph.D. in computer science with a specialization in digital image forensics from the University of Hyderabad. His expertise lies in addressing complex data challenges for both academia and businesses, with a focus on machine learning, deep learning, digital and medical image processing, and computer vision. With extensive experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science, he has served as a surgical data scientist at IRCAD Africa. In this role, he leverages machine learning and deep learning techniques for preprocessing 2D/3D medical image data and developing predictive models. His work encompasses applications such as predictive analytics, image analysis, operational optimization, clinical decision support, and medical research. He has contributed to projects across various domains, including bariatric surgery data for endoscopic Sleeve gastroplasty, medical video anonymization, and liver mass detection and segmentation.
